digitalburn's privacy policy
26/03/2003
This statement is valid from the date shown above, and will remain valid
until a new privacy policy is released. It currently applies to the
following web sites:
www.digitalburn.net
www.dburn-clothing.net
www.f-f-f.org.uk
and covers the collection and storage of information by these sites, and
by any other incidental means by digitalburn.
Your Privacy
At digitalburn we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, and
are strictly against the exploitation of personal information for 'data mining'
and all other sleazy capitalist purposes. We will not pass any personal information
we hold on you (our user) to any outside company or organisation without your explicit
permission (not without a legal warrant, anyway), and will not use it for any purpose
other than that which you agreed to give it to us for (e.g., name and address given
for delivery of goods).
Collecting Personal Information
digitalburn collects personal information only with your explicit permission. The
primary method used to collect personal information is through web forms (e.g., filling
out a form to have your email address added to a digitalburn mailing list), however, our
policy applies to information collected through any means.
By emailing digitalburn, one of it's subsidiary email addresses, or an employee at
digitalburn, you implicitly give us your email address (that's just how email works). We
will not use this email address for any other purpose, apart from replying to you personally,
without your explicit permission.
From time to time, we may use 'cookies' on our sites. Cookies are small packets of encoded
information stored on your computer by a web site. We will not use a cookie to collect or
store personally identifying information without your explicit permission. Typically, we will
only use cookies to store items of information such as preferences specific to our web sites,
in order to enhance your experience of them.
We will not add your email address to any email lists, apart from ones you have specifically
asked for (e.g., if you sign up to the digitalburn newsletter, we won't add your email to
any other of our email lists, unless you specifically ask us for it).
We may from time to time pass general usage and other statistics to other companies or
organisations, or use them for our own purposes. These statistics will contain no personally
identifying information.
Specific instances of the collection of personal information will be given on the appropriate
web site, and/or appended to this statement.
Summary
We will from time to time collect personal information on our users. This information is
collected to allow us to provide services to our users, and to enhance their experience while
using our sites. We are committed to the protection of privacy.

By using any of the above listed sites, by entering personal information into them, or by
explicitly indicating your consent to specific queries on the sites, you agree to the collection
and use of personal information by digitalburn.
