leftbrainmusic is a homespun publishing label, it is a loose association of artists doing what they want; it is for the giving, sharing and making of music.

For musicians, leftbrainmusic hopes to offer a medium for the sharing of resources and music, somewhere to promote the creative mixing of flavour. A place to broadcast from, a node through which to direct music from human heads to human ears. A little communal area and identity to share.

For listeners, leftbainmusic hopes to offer something a little different, a little experimental, free from the pressures of commerce. Our instruments work subtly, they can find the weird notes; they can play rhythms you can't keep. We never quite know what to do next. We can sing the blues in mathematics.
